Emma Crompton is an acting coach and casting director who has coached on 'Ted Lasso' (Apple) and 'Dreaming Whilst Black' (BBC/A24) and has been part of the casting team on projects such as 'Line of Duty' (BBC), 'Sherlock' (BBC), 'Beauty and the Beast' (Disney), 'The Dig' (Netflix) and many more. Emma has worked for the top casting directors in the UK including Lucy Bevan, Robert Sterne, Kate Rhodes James and Theo Park.  Prior to her career behind the camera Emma trained as an actor at The Arden School of Theatre in Manchester and was a jobbing actor for a few years prior to working behind the scenes.

 

Emma developed her own unique and effective teaching methods for actors focussing on the casting process.
